snowpack.exe crashes with inclusion of soil layers
This issue was reported by Mark Pleasants.
I am running the binary releases of Snowpack 3.3.0 and MeteoIO 2.5.0 on Windows. When attempting to run a simulation with soil layers, snowpack.exe crashes with no error report / information appearing in the the console. I simply get the default Windows error window pop up that says:
""snowpack.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.""
I have previously run the same simulation without soil layers and it works fine.
After looking at the limited output data in the .pro / .met files, the program appears to crash as soon as the model creates its first snow layer. This happens whether a snow layer is included in the initial profile (.snoold file) or not. Snowpack will model the first time step that snow appears in the simulation and then crash.
So it seems to me there is some interaction between the soil and snow layers that Snowpack doesn't like? Though I am unsure where things are going wrong.
I am including my .ini, .smet, and .snoold file.
Thanks, Mark
