Using niViz to visualize Crocus simulation
This issue was reported by Marie Dumont.
At Cen, we are currently trying to re-design a software to visualize Crocus simulations and produce figures for scientific papers. We have been thinking on developing something within niViz but we have 3 main issues
- is it possible to built a ""plugout"" to export a python object (instead of .svg, .png ....)? Most of Crocus users are indeed using matplotlib for figures and it would be for us the most convenient way to modify the figures and prepare them for publication.
- is it possible to overlay observation data (such as measured snow depth) on the temporal profiles of simulated values ?
- is it possible to use niViz without the gui, i.e. script mode ?
sorry in advance if the question are a bit unclear.
Best regards,
Marie
